PoliticsCameroonian forces repelled a Boko Haram assault on a military base at Kolofata, near the Nigerian border. The government said 143 fighters were killed along with one Cameroonian soldier, a toll AFP noted could not be independently verified and which later accounts put anywhere between 143 and 300.
