BREAKING: Chad's President Idriss Deby, in power since 1990 via a coup, died today of injuries while fighting rebels in the North. He just won the election a week ago for a 6th term as President. He's been succeeded by his own son Gen. Mahamat Idriss Deby as new Head of State.
