Port Harcourt, one of Nigeria's biggest cities, was named after then UK Secretary for Colonies, Lord Lewis Harcourt in 1913 by Governor-General Lugard. A publicly shamed rapist and paedophile who violated both genders, Harcourt allegedly committed suicide on February 24, 1922.
