This Nigerian Emmanuel Anenih sued MTN for unlawfully deducting 50 naira from his airtime per unsolicited caller tunes he never subscribed to. An Abuja High Court found MTN guilty, ordered it to pay him N5 million for disturbing his peace and another N500,000 for legal expenses.
