Meet the first African female lawyer in Tanzania & Malawi, the 36-year-old mother of five, Mrs. Vera Chirwa. Born in Malawi, where she had her earlier education, she traveled to London to obtain her law degree in 1966, called the same year, before moving to Tanzania to practice.
