Flora Shaw was one of the few Western authors to boldly admit in her 1905 book that the great ancient Egyptian civilisation emanated from Black Africa—from the Nubians (or Ethiopians). She was the mistress/wife of Lord F. Lugard, colonial Governor of Uganda, Hong-Kong & Nigeria.
